The secret to making the best japanese strawberry sandos!

Japanese strawberry sando recipe inspired by my recent trip to Japan!! Was eating a 7/11 strawberry sando when I noticed there was a yellow sauce in my sandwhich which was sweetened condensed milk! Strawberry sandos are fluffy and creamy yet still light and refreshing and so easy to eat.
Japanese Strawberry Sando
Small batch version (makes 2 to 3):
- Japanese milk bread
- 1/2 c of cold heavy whipping cream
- 1 to 2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk, to taste
- fresh strawberries
- extra sweetened condensed milk to drizzle
- whip together heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk, place in fridge
- prep strawberries and cut off strawberry tops
- prep Japanese milk bread by cutting off the edges
- layer whipped cream onto the bread and place strawberries inside in a criss cross pattern
- drizzle extra sweetened condensed milk on top before layering on more whipped cream
- add over the top bread and place in the fridge for at least an hour to set
- slice it using a very sharp knife
enjoy!!
